That's my medal, don't wear it out! HUH-HUH! OK, I will stop using my Pee Wee Herman voice and start telling you about this 2019 Fiesta Medal by Mitzi Moore! Inspired from a certain big adventure, the Pee Wee Bike Fiesta Medal has a purple Alamo silhouette in the background—the purported resting place of the bike in the basement.

The inspiration behind this bike came from Rosie, a classic/throwback Schwinn that Mitzi got as a Mother's Day gift this past year. Even though she hadn't ridden a bike since she was nine years old, she's now been all over the Mission/Museum Reach and half the Salado Creek trail!

Through 2020, one dollar from every sale was donated to the San Antonio Mennonite Church on South Saint Mary's. The church is undergoing a rennovation and these funds will be incredibly helpful. They share their building with PEACE Initiative (20 years+ of fighting domestic violence), The Migrant Center, the Conjunto Heritage Taller and Interfaith Welcome Coalition, a group that takes care of people just released from Family Detention Centers in South Texas.
