My little boy Gavin loves playing in the dirt. He also loves all things construction and can name all the vehicles—back hoe, bulldozer, cement mixer, crane, grader, steam roller, all of them! But he really like the bulldozer, or Big Bull as he'll sometimes call it. So to celebrate my son's interests this year, I'm proud to introduce his Bulldozer Fiesta Medal 2019!

Instead of digging up dirt, the bulldozer is getting a bunch of cracked cascarones (coincidentally, Gavin also loves busting cascarones during Fiesta—but who doesn't!) with "2019" being written in the shells. We did a classic construction/hazard/roadwork sign pattern for the ribbon and added in "I Dig Fiesta" at the bottom. Through 2020, one dollar from every sale was donated to The Children's Shelter, a place here in San Antonio that puts children first by providing a safe, trauma-focused place for children in crisis whether the need is for immediate shelter, residential treatment, foster or adoptive homes.
