CASA is an organization that I've supported for quite some time—the work that they do on behalf of our smallest San Antonians. These advocates provide constancy for abused and neglected children and youth while advocating for services and placement in safe and permanent homes. Important work indeed. And to help raise money for their cause, I'm proud to collaborate with CASA on this Raspa Truck Fiesta Medal!
The medal features a classic raspa truck, a staple of childhood here in San Antonio. The truck has an array of colors and features the CASA logo on the door, their name at the top of the truck and CASA on the license plate. Underneath the window are words that highlight some of the frozen treats they make—mangonadas, picadillys, changos and of course RASPAS!
CASA was one of four non-profits that I partnered with this year for a new business model—they were not out any money or risk for the medals, SA Flavor covered it all! We are splitting the proceeds from the medal 50/50 and look to raise a ton more money for CASA this year! ¡VIVA FIESTA! ¡VIVA CASA!
