This medal is straight FIRE! When a local Spur became a spokesperson for a French fashion brand, we suddenly had a popup shop in Southtown in the vein of Prada Marfa by artist Andy Benavides! After some conversations, the Louis Vuitton branding came down and up went Luis Vaton, with a photo by icon Al Rendon in the front window. 

I've known Andy for years and after connecting with him at the beginning of April, I knew we had to do a medal! Funded by Methodist Healthcare, proceeds from this Luis Vaton medal goes to S.M.A.R.T. (Studying Mindful Arts Resources Together smartsa.org), a non-profit started by Andy and his wife Yvette focused  on growing emotional health through art education. Beyond S.M.A.R.T., Andy has a number of pieces around San Antonio, including the Bunnies under the St. Mary's Bridge, the Spurs mural on the side of the Majestic Theatre, and an art complex and frame shop at 1906 S. Flores! Andy is also a former Fiesta Poster Artist! ¡VIVA ANDY!
