Dogecoin was supposed to be a kind of meme joke cryptocurrency, but it has turned into one of the most talked about blockchain coins this year. It saw a meteoric rise to fame, thanks in large part to Tesla and SpaceX CEO (and current Texas resident) Elon Musk. I have been getting into cryptocurrency/blockchain technologies, so thought it would be fun to make a medal to celebrate the ascent of Doge.

The Dogecoin Fiesta Medal 2021 was designed to look like a real coin—the front shows that famous Shiba Inu in a Fiesta flower crown and has silly words around the edges (including, "wow much fiesta 2021") in the classic comic sans font. The back shows a rocket blasting off through the coin's D symbol with the saying HODL (Internet meme speak for "Hold") to the moon!
