One of Ben’s standout creations features Pico de Gallo, a downtown favorite just steps from Market Square. Opened in 1991 by the Cortez family, it’s known for authentic Tex-Mex, lively culture, and its iconic 33-foot mural honoring San Antonio legends like Rosie Castro and Selena. Ben transformed his painting of the restaurant into a colorful sticker—an everyday tribute to the city’s rich food and cultural heritage.
